πŸ– Enjoy tender BBQ pulled pork paired with tangy sauce and melted cheese on soft Hawaiian slider buns for a perfect handheld treat.
πŸ§€ This recipe offers a deliciously easy meal or party snack that combines savory bacon, gooey cheese, and flavorful pork in every bite.

  • Total Time: 20 minutes
  • Yield: 12 sliders

Ingredients

– 12 Hawaiian slider rolls

– 2 tablespoons of butter

– 3 tablespoons of melted butter for the glaze

– 1 pound of pulled pork

– 2/3 cup of barbecue sauce

– 6 slices of white cheddar cheese

– 1/2 pound of bacon cut into 2-3 inch pieces

– 2 tablespoons of brown sugar for the glaze

– 1 teaspoon of Italian seasoning for the glaze

– 1 teaspoon of minced garlic for the glaze

Instructions

1-First, preheat the oven to 350Β°F and line a baking sheet with a non-stick material to keep things simple and clean. Cut the slider rolls in half and spread 1 tablespoon of softened butter on each half for a golden touch. Lightly brown the buttered rolls in the oven to add flavor and prevent sogginess.

2-Next, warm the pulled pork mixed with barbecue sauce in a pan or microwave until it’s hot and easy to handle. Evenly spread it on the bottom halves of the rolls for a hearty base. Top with the slices of white cheddar cheese and sprinkle the chopped bacon over the cheese to build layers of taste.

3-Place the top halves of the rolls on the sandwiches to complete the assembly. Combine the melted butter with brown sugar, Italian seasoning, and garlic to make the glaze, then spoon it over the sliders for a sweet and savory finish. Bake for 5 to 10 minutes until the cheese melts and the buns are nicely browned on top.

4-First Step: Prepare the pork shoulder by trimming excess fat and seasoning it evenly with smoked paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.

5-Second Step: Place the pork in a slow cooker with barbecue sauce and cook on low for 6-8 hours until tender.

6-Third Step: Shred the pork using two forks once cooked and mix it thoroughly with additional barbecue sauce to enhance flavor.

7-Fourth Step: Toast the slider buns lightly to add texture and prevent sogginess.

8-Fifth Step: Assemble sliders by layering pulled pork and coleslaw on each bun.

9-Final Step: Serve immediately, garnished with extra sauce or pickles as desired.
