๐Ÿ A creamy tropical smoothie that tastes like a vacation in a glass, naturally sweetened with pineapple and Medjool dates.
๐Ÿฅฅ Made with just seven simple ingredients, this dairy-free and vegan-friendly drink comes together in minutes.

  • Total Time: 5 minutes
  • Yield: 1 serving (about 16 oz)

Ingredients

Frozen pineapple chunks

Medjool dates

Dried coconut flakes (unsweetened)

Unsweetened plant based yogurt

Plant based milk (canned coconut milk or oat milk)

Fresh lime juice

A pinch of salt

Hemp seeds (optional)

Instructions

1-Add ingredients to blender: Combine frozen pineapple, dates, coconut flakes, yogurt, milk, lime juice, salt, and hemp seeds.

2-Blend smoothie: Start blending on low and increase to high, adding extra liquid if needed until the mixture moves freely.

3-Blend until smooth: Blend for 45-60 seconds until dates and coconut are fully broken down and texture is silky.

4-Taste and adjust: Taste and adjust sweetness with extra date or maple syrup, or add more lime for tanginess.

5-Serve immediately: Pour into a glass, optionally garnish with pineapple wedge and cherry, and enjoy right away.

Notes

๐Ÿ’ก For the creamiest texture, use frozen pineapple chunks instead of fresh pineapple with ice โ€” it keeps the smoothie thick without watering it down.
๐Ÿ’ก Leftovers can be frozen in popsicle molds for a refreshing tropical treat on a hot day.
๐Ÿ’ก If canned coconut milk feels too rich, swap it for unsweetened almond milk for a lighter but still delicious version.
